Multi-talented singer/actor John Gabriel enjoys a career that spans a variety of mediums and genres. He is a rarity to be sure, a consummate entertainer whose easy style, natural grace and ability make whatever he does appear to be seamless. But the talent in the Gabriel family doesn't just end there. His wife Sandy and two daughters Melissa and Andrea share John's talents and all together, they are a family beyond compare.
Sandy played the unforgettable role of Edna on "All My Children" for eight years. Edna was supposed to be a femme fatale but she quickly turned the role into a daytime Lucille Ball. Sandy brought comedy to daytime drama. Melissa was one of the stars of "Oddville" for MTV and recently wrote, produced and starred in "I Never," a film that won first place in The New York Film Festival. Andrea, after major successes on New York stages, including a starring role in David Rabe's latest play, "The Dog Problem" and playing opposite F. Murray Abraham in "It's My Party," has been doing major roles on hit television shows. Her recent guest starring role on "Lost" as Sayid's lost love Nadia, has garnered enthusiastic critical and public acclaim.
This special CD includes a bonus: A DVD with a collection of interviews, home video footage and live performances. This 36 minute program is a touching portrait of the Gabriel family and the music that brings them together.
